Welcome Viking Families

We are so excited to begin another year at The Village School. If this is your first year at with us, the VSPA Board extends a very warm welcome, (105 degrees to be precise)

For all of our families, we hope you had a fantastic summer, and you are ready to sign up for all the volunteer opportunities and school events!

We have a lot of exciting things planned for the year:

• A new VSPA website (www.thevillageschoolparents.org) where you can find information about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and more.

• A variety of volunteer opportunities for parents to get involved in.

• A monthly calendar with all the Parent-Led Groups and events that will keep you up-to-date on all the latest news from VSPA.

• Moving forward with the VSPA 501(c)(3) non-profit project, please help us by completing the survey (survey is closed)

We want every family to feel that they are part of our community, and we want VSPA to be representative of all of us. We can’t do that unless we all participate in our own way. Your voice and opinion are important, and whether you come to the General Meetings or prefer to contact VSPA Board members individually, we want to hear from you.

This Board is committed to transparency and including feedback from the entire community, is the only way for us to make decisions that reflect our mission to facilitate and coordinate parental involvement at The Village School, support the educational and social objectives of our school, and provide an organized forum for fundraising projects.

My name is Gaby Rendon and I have the honor to lead this year’s Board but I couldn’t do it without the support of my Dream Team.
